Students will use two gauges of copper wire and flame stitch to create a beautiful woven cuff. Use a natural gemstone cabochon to set in the middle of your piece.

Learn to work with a variety of materials, tools and techniques to design and produce earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and key chains. Materials such as varied beads, flexwire, copper wire, gemstones and clay will be used.
Students will explore techniques including, knotting and stringing, creating wire cages for gemstones, Japanese round braiding, herringbone and wire design.
Jewelry Making camps will teach different projects each week, so students wishing to participate in both weeks will learn and create new things each day!

This class is a fan-favorite and useful to make beautiful braided works to incorporate or be the main focus of a piece. On Sunday, May 7th from 12-4pm, learn this 5-loop braid using copper wire to create a 2 strand cuff. Participants will be using their fingers and minimal materials to make this substantial piece.

Join Chereal Designs on Zoom for two sessions to make this incredible woven bracelet with a gemstone cabochon middle sourced by a local lapidarian Nick Hunter. Each kit will include one of Nick’s cut gemstones, copper wire, copper beads and copper clasp.
Students will need to provide tools: Round nose plier, chain nose plier, wire cutter, nylon jaw straightener tools.

Prerequisites: Any wireworking experience.
This intricate-looking project is great for wire weaving beginners and focuses on the coiled wire decoration that sits along the edge of a gemstone cabochon. Students will get a fundamental understanding of weaving with decorative bands, create a double spiral and learn how to use household tools to make the wire weaving process easier. A multi-speed drill demonstration will be provided during class on how to pre-coil wire for future projects.
Take your wirework skills to the next level with these tips and tricks on how to perfect twisting wire into links along with headpins. Students will get to choose kits made from: glass, wood, pearls or glass beads and all kits come with written instructions along with materials. To make adjustable knots we will be using leather or a vegan option of black knotting cord. All tools will be provided during class, be sure to bring any additional reading glasses or other vision tools to help see fine detail.

Learn the basics of wire wrapping stones. Students will practice with copper wire to form a plan for a semi-precious stone, then move to sterling wire for the final project.
Sunday, June 26th from 4-6pm: Earrings Workshop! Design and create earrings using beads such as: gemstones, Swarovski, wood and glass using one-drop and two-drop techniques. Students will learn how to twist wire headpins and attach eye pins along with ear wires to create beautiful earrings. Stainless steel and base wire ear wires will be involved in the class price. Students will be advised on how to shop for hypo-allergenic pieces from local businesses and leave with 4 pairs of earrings and instructions from Chereal Designs.

Take your wirework skills to the next level by using wire to create a woven cage and bail onto a double terminated or top-drilled stone. Various widths of copper wire will be used to create depth and texture.
Learn the basics of creating a wire cage for your stone to transform it into a stylish pendant using tools and materials provided by Cheryl of Chereal Designs. Each class kit comes with 4 polished gemstones, copper wire, written instructions and instruction during class. This class is great for beginners and the age range is 8+

Join designer Cheryl on Thursday April 14th from 2-5pm on Zoom with a new class using only wire to create a hammered shape and wound wire for an organic design. Students will be on the hunt before class in the home for tools to make their shape and handmade earwires.
